Suspected: Local journalist arrested in Afghanistan

PESHAWAR: Sulaiman Shah, a journalist from Nehag Dara in Upper Dir, was reportedly arrested by Afghan security forces in Kabul some five days ago. Sulaiman was associated with a newspaper in the neighbouring country. Family sources and journalists confirmed the arrest of Sulaiman Shah, but were unable to give further details. Relatives said Sulaiman was passing through a check post at Pul-e-Charkhi in Kabul when he was arrested. No further details have emerged over his confinement or imprisonment.
