“Parents of the children killed in APS [Army Public School, Peshawar] and Charsadda incidents demand judicial inquiry of the incident,” Shah said, while addressing a press conference in Sukkur on Thursday. “So what if I made the same demand?”
Earlier during the day, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar had censured the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), saying those criticising the National Action Plan (NAP) and trying to create a situation of fear among the masses were working for the terrorists.

Apparently responding to the interior minister, who said he knew how an "opposition leader reaped benefits from the government", Khursheed Shah said, “I want to respond to the allegations levelled against me in the parliament in the presence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.”
He added if the prime minister remained unable to resolve the issue, “I would go to a court of law".

“We have always supported democracy and parliament,” the opposition leader said, but lamented that politics of blame game is now a hallmark of the federal government.
