Ephedrine Quota Case: Absence of witnesses angers accused
The court directed the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) to present the witnesses at the next hearing
RAWALPINDI:
Accused in the ephedrine quota allotment case on Saturday protested against continued absence of prosecution witnesses from the court. An anti-terrorism court adjourned the case against eight accused, including former PML-N MNA Hanif Abbasi, till February 13 after the prosecution witnesses failed to appear before the court. The accused said that witnesses were deliberately not being presented and that the case was being delayed. The court directed the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) to present the witnesses at the next hearing.
