Threat to security: College in Swabi without boundary wall

District nazim appealed to the district administration and the authorities to reconstruct the wall but to no avail

SWABI: A college for girls in Swabi is left without a boundary wall, increasing its vulnerability for possible militant attacks. The students and locals demanded on Friday the government reconstruct the boundary wall of the premises as it has put their lives at risk. The boundary wall of Government Girls Degree College Manki collapsed in October 2015, following heavy rainfall in Swabi. It has not been rebuilt since then. The students complain they are forced to stay inside classrooms and cannot participate in regular school activities because of a lack of a boundary wall. District nazim Ameerur Rehman appealed to the district administration and the authorities to reconstruct the wall but to no avail.
