A day after the attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said positive results were being achieved due to the continuing military operation against terrorists, Zarb-e-Azb.

“Terrorists are fleeing and are only attacking soft targets. We are achieving positive results in the operation against terrorism,” the premier told world leaders at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Switzerland’s city of Davos on Thursday.

He said the government was working on implementation of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project which, he claimed, will not only bring prosperity in Pakistan but the entire region.

Earlier during the day, Nawaz exchanged views with US Vice President Joe Biden and Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on the sidelines of the WEF regarding the current Afghan situation.
