Six bodies discovered in parts of K-P

Four bodies were recovered from Burj Nasir Khan while another two were found at Wanda Shero village of DI Khan

Four bodies were found in gunny bags in Burj Nasir Khan near Regi police station in the city early Tuesday.


All four men were believed to be residents of Ghundi in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency. They were identified as Iraq Khan, Sher Amin, Bakhtiar and Muhammad Rafiq.

“All of them were tortured to death; their bodies were dumped in the fields of Burj Nasir Khan,” a police official told The Express Tribune.

While talking The Express Tribune, Cantt SP Kashif Zulfiqar said the identity of the four victims had been established and the matter was under investigation.

DI Khan police find two bodies

Two bodies were found on Tuesday in Wanda Shero village of DI Khan, confirmed an official of Yarak police station. The victims were identified as Imran and Adnan, both residents of DI Khan. The remains were taken to District Headquarter and Teaching Hospital DI Khan for a post-mortem. Both men were shot dead.

Man arrested for murder

Police arrested a suspected murderer who allegedly dumped his victim in the fields of Pashtun Garhi in Nowshera. The slaughtered body was found late Monday night near Azakhel police station.

Saleh Muhammad, a rickshaw driver, was allegedly kidnapped by Yousaf and taken to Pashtun Garhi. The accused stoned him to death, slaughtered him and left Saleh’s remains in the fields.

Around Tuesday noon, the culprit was arrested.
