Indian Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has expressed his reservations on the action undertaken by Pakistan against the suspected Pathankot airbase attackers, Times of India reported on Monday.

“I think it is like …they have to tell us something that such action (attacks) will not be continued,” Indian Defence Minister said when asked whether he was satisfied about the action taken by Pakistan against the suspected attackers. “But in light of past experience I have my own reservation.”

Parrikar’s comment came a few days after he had said that ‘Pakistan’s inaction’ against the alleged attackers of 2008 terrorist attack on Mumbai’s landmarks and the January 2,2016, brazen assault on the Indian Air Force (IAF) base in Pathankot, Indian Punjab had exhausted his country’s ‘patience’.

Shortly after the attack, Islamabad had said that it would cooperate with New Delhi on the Pathankot attack.

The Pakistan government has since launched a crackdown against the outlawed Jaish-e-Muhammad (accused of masterminding the attack) sealing its offices and seminaries across Punjab and detaining dozens of activists -- including its chief.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also formed a high-powered committee that may travel to India to probe the Pathankot attack.
