Batsman scores unbeaten 122 to help side defeat Karachi Whites

Middle-order batsman Rameez Aziz scored an unbeaten century to help HBL chase down a 308-run target against Karachi Whites in their National One-Day Cup match at the UBL Ground in Karachi.
HBL rode on the excellent knock from Aziz as he made a 92-ball 122 to help his team end the match 308-8 in 49.3 overs.
Aziz was helped by knocks from Test batsmen Imran Farhat (55) and Hasan Raza (36). Left-arm spinner Faraz Ahmed Khan bagged three wickets.

Earlier, Karachi Whites had posted 307-6 courtesy a brilliant century from Rameez Raja Jr as he smashed 118 off 115 balls, while Owais Rehmani remained not out on 78.
Off-spinner Ashiq Ali picked up three wickets.
Meanwhile, Wapda managed to beat Rawalpindi by five wickets at the National Stadium in Karachi.

Batting first, Rawalpindi bundled out for 166 in 43.1 overs as none of their batsmen could get going despite decent starts.
Khalid Usman claimed three wickets, while Mohammad Asif and Naseer Akram bagged two scalps each.
In reply, Wapda chased down the target by scoring 167-5 in 41.4 overs. Atiqur Rehman contributed 44, while Bismillah Khan chipped in with 36 and in-form Salman added 30.
