No casualties: Residence of Aghan official attacked
Yousafzai said he was present at home when, at 2:15am, unidentified assailants opened fire on his house
PESHAWAR:
The residence of an Afghan Consulate employee came under attack in University Town early Friday morning. Humayun Yousafzai lodged an FIR with Town Police on Friday, stating his residence which is located on Jamaluddin Afghani Road in University Town, came under attack. Yousafzai said he was present at home when, at 2:15am, unidentified assailants opened fire on his house, damaging the gate. No one was injured in the attack. However, it caused widespread panic. Town police registered an FIR on the complaint of Yousafzai who is a first secretary at the Afghan Consulate in the city.
