Star Wars: The Force Awakens has grossed a whopping $770 million to date making actor Harrison Ford the highest grossing actor in the history of Hollywood, according to Box Office Mojo.
The star's 41 films have amassed around $4.7 billion, with Star Wars predicted to rake in even more worldwide as it releases in China and other parts of the world.

Previous topper, Samuel L Jackson, came down to second place with his 68 films making $4.6 billion. But with major movies slated to release in the near future, it seems that the two actors will be head to head for the top spot.

Tom Hanks came in third and Morgan Freeman took the fourth spot on the list, followed by Eddie Murphy, Tom Cruise, Robert Downey Jr, Johnny Depp, Michael Caine, and Gary Oldman in the top 10.
