Shuja Khanzada case: Eight accused declared absconders

Eight accused in the Attock attack incident that claimed the life of Punjab Interior Minister Shuja Khanzada were declared absconders.


The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has prepared its challan against the arrested accused Qasim Mauavia, which has also been approved by the relevant prosecutor.


The challan points at Qari Sohail as the mastermind of the suicide attack in Attock. Sohail  has also been declared an absconder by the court.


It further states that Mauavia allegedly provided help to the suicide bomber.


Moreover, seven accused persons, Amjad, Fayyaz, Nayyaz, Sadaqat, Saddam, Imran Sattar, and Zaheer have also been declared absconders in the challan.


The next hearing in the case will be held on January 9 in the court of Special Judicial Magistrate Shahid Hameed Chaudhary.
