Tragedy Strikes: One killed, two injured in roof collapse

The rescue teams helped rush the injured to the hospital

TIMERGARA: A teenager was killed while two others were injured when the roof of their house caved in on Saturday in Hundak area of Lower Dir. Insiders familiar with the matter told The Express Tribune, Mamoor Khan’s house was damaged in the earthquake that ripped through Pakistan and Afghanistan on October 26. However, he continued to live there with his family. On Saturday morning, the family was sleeping when the roof of the house collapsed, killing Mamoor’s 15-year-old daughter and injuring two others. The rescue teams helped rush the injured to the hospital. On October 26, an earthquake of magnitude 7.5 jolted Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and resulted in many casualties.
