Attacked by in-laws: Woman loses fetus in ‘stomping’

RAWALPINDI: A woman lost her six months old unborn baby after she was allegedly pushed to the ground by her in-laws who stomped on her stomach, over a domestic issue. Shumaila Amir, a resident of the city area, lodged a complaint with the Women Police Station that her mother-in-law, Razia, and her brothers-in-law, Riaz and Faisal, physically assaulted her and pushed her to the ground, after they had an argument over a domestic issue. The complainant said that the kicking and thrashing caused her to lose her six months old unborn baby. The police have registered a case. No arrests were made till the filing of this report.
