
Dr TCA Raghavan, Indian High Commissioner, made a farewell call on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at the PM House on Tuesday.
Issues pertaining to bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed during the meeting.
Meanwhile PM Nawaz during a meeting with a delegation of visiting Qatari dignitaries, said that Pakistan is fast emerging on the map as a country with strong macro-economic indicators. ‘We are putting in place a robust economic framework to steer Pakistan to the group of top progressing nations in the next decade’, said the PM.
The PM also asked the visiting Qatari delegation to invest in the highly profitable hydro-power sector of Pakistan, which offers tremendous investment opportunities.
Members of the delegation stated that Pakistan is a different country under the present government.
PM Nawaz also chaired a meeting on Pakistan Post after inaugurating the upgraded building of GPO Murree on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister directed the authorities concerned to ensure accessibility and affordability for the masses from all parts of the country.
