Chinese national found dead in guest house

ISLAMABAD:

A Chinese national and another man were shot dead at a guest house in Islamabad on Friday.


The guest house is located on Nazimuddin Road in Sector F-8/4 of Islamabad. Police took custody of the bodies and arrested the guest house staff. The guest record was also confiscated. Police officials said both men were the victims of target killing and had been killed by a silencer equipped hand gun.


The Chinese national has not yet been identified. The other victim is said to hail from Karachi.


SP Investigation Mohammad Saqib saidthe investigation is ongoing, but so far no clue has been found indicating the Chinese national's identity.

Harry John | 14 years ago | Reply No one is safe anywhere in Pakistan. Highly trained private security guards can keep one safe. They (Failed Govt ppl) should allow automatic hand guns to people for personal safty like in usa.

Though it would cost you a bit more than what you pay for a guest house. But prevailing conditions are such that your own safety is most important. I being a Pakistani, apologize for such inconveniences. You would agree that many enemies of Pakistan also have dropped into the scene to take advantage of the conditions and accomplish their goals to destabilize Pakistan or its interests.
