Down The Hill: Five killed in road accident

According to Pattan police, six people were going in a car to Swat from Gilgit

KOHISTAN: Five passengers were killed while one was injured when their car skidded off the Karakoram Highway and plunged into a roadside gorge on Monday. According to Pattan police, six people were going in a car to Swat from Gilgit. When their car reached near Trais Banda village within the jurisdiction of Pattan police station around 11am, the driver lost control of the steering wheel and the car fell off the Karakoram Highway. Five people died on the spot. Those killed were identified as Shaukat Ali, a resident of Swat, Ashfaq Ahmed, Wahidullah, Khanzad Gul, all residents of Mohmand Agency and Muhammad Shafiq from Bajaur Agency. Fazalur Rehman from Mingora was critically injured and was taken to Ayub Teaching Hospital Abbottabad.
