Popular Bollywood composer Bappi Lahiri is all set to work across borders as he announces his next collaboration with acclaimed international artists.
The Jimmy Jimmy hit-maker recently revealed in an interview that he will be working alongside American rappers Snoop Dogg and Akon, reports Times of India.
In the interview, the Bollywood singer shared details of his upcoming project. "I have already worked with one of the top rappers in America, MC Hammer for song Will to Live. Now, I will be working with American rapper Snoop Dogg," he disclosed.
"Akon, songwriter and rapper, will also be singing with me. So, I am trying to make a melody for rap," he added.

Sharing his thoughts on the growing trend of rap music in India, Bappi revealed that Badshah and Yo Yo Honey Singh are his favourite Indian rappers.
He believes both rappers have the potential to make a mark in the international world.

This is not the first time Snoop and Akon have ventured into Bollywood. The former was seen in an Indian avatar in the title track of Singh is Kinng in 2008. He showed off his bhangra moves while sporting a traditional turban alongside Akshay Kumar.
