A book about the struggle and hardship of Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi with his son Ayan's cancer treatment is slated to be out by April 2016.

Emraan, who will next be seen in director Tony D'Souza's upcoming film Azhar, took to Twitter to make the announcement. He also shared an image where he and his four-year-old son are being photographed for the upcoming book.

"Fun photoshoot for my book with @RohanShrestha... Book will be out by April. Always great to shoot at home," he tweeted on Saturday.

The actor's son was diagnosed with first-stage cancer in January, 2014.



On the recommendation of the doctors who performed an emergency surgery on Ayan in Mumbai, the actor flew out with him to Canada.

On the movie front, Emraan, who is known for films such as MurderJannat and The Dirty Picture among many, is currently shooting for the fourth instalment of Raaz.

The actor had shared that he will be shooting in Transylvania, Romania.

"'Azhar' almost done! Next one... 'Raaz 4 Reboot' in nail biting -15 degrees in Transylvania. Off to Dracula's castle," the 36-year-old actor, who had also been a part of the second and the third instalments of the franchise, had shared on Twitter.
