LAHORE:
An additional district and sessions judge has sought comments from the Shahdara SHO on a petition filed by a man seeking registration of a case against his wife and her family members for stealing his valuables. In his petition, Muhammad Sadiq submitted that he had married Shazia Bibi. He said that three months later, she had gone to her parent’s house following an argument. He said that a few days ago his wife and some of her family members had visited him to reach a settlement. He said they had stolen cash and jewellery worth Rs30,000 from his house. Sadiq said he had requested the SHO to take action against them but he had done nothing in this regard. He requested the court to order the officer to register an FIR against her wife and her parents and to prosecute them over the charges.
