Aries | March 20 – April 19

There’s always a difference between having organised a plan and regarding what’s been done as final. Judging by the current shakeups in circumstances, what seems solid now is likely to need to be rethought at the last minute. Knowing that, ensure what you arrange is flexible enough to ride out those changes.

Taurus | April 20 – May 20

The time has come to draw a line with somebody who’s seriously headstrong. You’re finally acknowledging that, clearly, they’ll do things their way until somebody speaks up. And in a manner as forthright as it is unarguable. At the moment, the individual who has to do the talking is you.

Gemini | May 21 – June 20

For ages you’ve encouraged certain rather timid individuals to take a more active role in both existing activities and future planning, but with little success. Over the coming days their attitude won’t just change, it will be transformed. Say nothing. This is very new, and they’re a bit shy about it.

Cancer | June 21 – July 22

Progress in tense issues is always a relief. What worries you, however, is that not everybody seems happy about it. Don’t be surprised if some seem totally lacking in enthusiasm. They, too, are pleased, it’s just they’re not good at showing their feelings. If you ask them, they’ll express their delight.

Leo | July 23 – August 22

Although you refuse to admit it to others and have trouble acknowledging it to yourself, you know you’re being ridiculously stubborn about certain necessary changes. Ironically, pointing this out aloud will begin discussions that will lead to vital advice about the first step, and those you must take next.

Virgo | August 23 – September 22

Be aware that a seemingly civilised exchange of ideas could turn into contentious debates. While you rather enjoy discussions of this nature, mostly because they’re informative, others could regard your questions as criticism. If you find yourself apologising for your views, a sign others are upset, simply change the subject.

Libra | September 23 – October 22

Clear-cut as certain potentially tricky situations seem, they’re far more complex than they appear to be. In fact, it may not be until both the Sun and Mercury meet Pluto, planet of secrets revealed, that you know enough to make decisions of any kind. Until then, look, watch and listen.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

In a few days, a cycle that’s been as illuminating as, often, it’s been frustrating comes to an end. This is Mars’ stay in the most reflective portion of your chart. While you’ve been forced to face numerous seriously challenging issues, what you’ve learnt will serve you, now and in the future.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 21

As a fire sign, you tend to live in the moment so deal easily with the unexpected. However, not everybody benefits from your ability to respond positively to surprises. While the past days haven’t exactly been calm, January promises to be even more unsettling. Prepare for yet more complaints from others.

Capricorn | December 22 – January 19

Usually, planning ahead is a virtue. But judging by the change, in both circumstances and your perspective that’s likely to accompany the Capricorn New Moon, on 10 January, things will soon be very different. If situations or the requirements of others mean you must make plans, ensure they’re flexible.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 17

Although you’re undoubtedly well aware of Mercury’s retrograde cycle, you may not realise that your own ruling planet, Uranus also goes retrograde. This period of reverse movement is now coming to a conclusion and with it, so will many situations that you’ve found confusing, difficult or perplexing to deal with.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Yet again you’re caught in a situation in which you made a promise you hoped you could keep but, sadly, now can’t. Tempting as it is to try to find a way to make it up to them, that would only complicate matters. It’s unlikely they’ll be as disappointed as you fear.
