Kozlov’s paintings on display

Cultural activities are helpful to understand each other

Russian ambassador to Pakistan Alexey Dedov inaugurated first solo painting exhibition of Yuri Kozlov, Trade Representative of Russian Federation in Pakistan, at Comsats Art Gallery on Tuesday. The display was jointly organised by Association of Pakistan Graduates from Russia and CIS, and Comsats, said a press release. Addressing the inaugurating ceremony, Kozlov explained the way he works with oil on canvas. While inaugurating the exhibition, the ambassador said Pakistan and Russia have witnessed breakthrough in bilateral relations in 2015. Both countries are now moving towards improved relations, and cooperation in various areas is their priority, he said. Senator Sehar Kamran welcomed improvement in Pak-Russia relations and termed current trajectories of bilateral relations as satisfactory. “Cultural activities are helpful to understand each other,” she said.
