YouTuber Rajab Butt, Nadeem Naniwala approach IHC over travel ban
Hearings on the petitions, expected soon at IHC, will decide if both can travel abroad or not

YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Naniwala have approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking permission to travel abroad.
Both social media personalities are named in cybercrime and other cases and are currently subject to travel restrictions. They have filed separate petitions requesting the removal of the ban on international travel.
According to court documents, the petitions were filed through lawyers Barrister Raja Qadeer Janjua and Ahad Khokhar. The petitioners contend that their inclusion on the no-travel list is unjustified and has adversely affected their professional activities.
The petitions name the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the Interior Secretary, and other relevant authorities as respondents. The court has been requested to issue immediate orders removing their names from the travel-restricted list.
Hearings on the petitions are expected soon at the IHC, after which it will be determined whether the two social media personalities will be allowed to travel abroad.

The bail extension was granted during a hearing on interim bail petitions in the Lahore Sessions Court, presided over by Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Ahmad Qureshi.
During the proceedings, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) submitted the case record and informed the court that the investigation had not yet been completed, seeking additional time.
The court had earlier granted the investigating officer time to submit the investigation report.
