Two killed in Mohmand Agency IED blast
Three civilians injured in the attack, sources said
PESHAWAR:
A security forces official along with one other was killed while three others received injuries in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in Baizai area of Mohmand Agency.
According to sources, the bomb planted by unidentified militants at Katcha road in Atham village killed one civilian along with a security forces official while injuring three others.
Tribal leader injured, one killed in IED blast in Mohmand Agency
Earlier last month, a tribal leader was injured while a passerby was killed in an IED blast in Mohmand Agency.
“The tribal leader, Malik Hazrat Noor, was driving by when the road side IED went off. As a result of the blast, a passerby was killed on the spot, while Noor received severe injuries,” a political administration officer of lower Mohmand Agency confirmed.

“No group has claimed responsibility for the attack thus far,” the official said, while adding that the deceased and the injured were shifted to Peshawar from Mohmand Agency.
