Taking Measures: Security enhanced in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have enhanced security throughout the city with special focus on schools and media houses. According to police source, special attention is being paid on checking at entry and exit points of the city. Quick Response Force has been also ordered to remain vigilant and ready to tackle any untoward situation while squad of falcon vehicles from Rescue 15 have been also directed for strict patrolling and keep in touch with the heads of police stations for ensuring security. As many as 30 halting points in Islamabad have been also specified to keep strict checking of those entering or leaving the city.  Another police source said that policemen including lady police commandos have been deployed at various locations for checking of suspicious women. Police deployment has been ensured at sensitive and important buildings while police officials in civil uniforms have been tasked to keep vigilance against suspicious elements, he added.
