The three-day 13th international conference “Frontiers of Information Technology” (FIT), organised by Comsats Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) began at Serena Hotel in Islamabad on Monday, said a press release.
To keep up with the growing pace of IT, the forum provides an ideal opportunity for the participants to share cutting-edge research.
The acceptance ratio of technical papers in the FIT is comparable to that of other international conferences, said the co-chair, Dr Usama Ejaz Bajwa
The theme of this year’s conference is Information and Communications Technologies for Education.
Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Dr Sajal K Das, in his keynote address, ‘Beyond Cyber - Physical Era: What’s Next,’ highlighted some of the emerging opportunities, and research challenges, in the cyber-physical-social convergence, and presented novel solutions to tackle them.
The conference will also host a series of talks.
