Best from the TBCW red carpet
Amna Ilyas and Jahan-e-Khalid put their best foot forward in ensembles that screamed classy
LAHORE:
The red carpet on day one of Telenor Bridal Couture Week was lacklustre with a genuine dearth of celebrity sightings, which are often a staple at bridal weeks. But that didn’t stop modelling stars Amna Ilyas and Jahan-e-Khalid from putting their best foot forward in ensembles that screamed classy. The two stood out from the crowd by a mile and their polished looks made just the right statement on a winter evening. Spruced up both on and off the ramp, Amna and Jahan were sights for eyes sore from a string of unkempt sartorial choices.
Amna Illyas
A leap further into fashion
The dusky beauty looked radiant in a powder pink Khaadi Khaas jumpsuit that featured flared pants. Powder pink is the colour du jour of fashionistas all over the world, and Amna absolutely hit the ball out of the park sporting it. To add to the chic factor, she added a brown faux fur wrap-around, making it season-appropriate. The jumpsuit featured three-quarter sleeves and a low neck that she carried off with her signature poise. She kept her accessories to a bare minimum with only statement earrings by Hamna Amir and kept the make-up focused on her eyes. The bronzer accentuated her already gorgeous skin tone and features.
Jahan-e-Khalid
HSY accentuates craft for TBCW
Jahan stands tall with a debonair presence both on and off the ramp and has quickly risen as one of the most sought-after faces in the industry. He looked dapper in a chequered dark grey suit by Zeitgeist along with a white shirt — a classic that a man can’t go wrong with. He paired it with a striped yellow and blue tie and wore a gorgeous rusty orange jacket over his shoulders. His camel-coloured shoes rounded off his look perfectly.
