Eid miladun nabi: Religious leaders vow to maintain harmony
Police will develop a contingency plan to ensure smooth traffic during the month

Religious leaders have assured the Khairpur district administration of all-out support in maintaining harmony on Eid Miladun Nabi less than two weeks away. Arrangements for festivities associated with Rabiul Awwal were reviewed at a meeting held at the Khairpur deputy commissioner’s office on Friday. At the meeting, chaired by deputy commissioner Munawwar Ali Muthiani, and attended by senior district government officials, representatives of various schools of thought assured the government of seeking timely permission for holding large gatherings along with the processions. It was also decided at the meeting that police will develop a contingency plan to ensure smooth traffic during the month.
