Mutual benefit: Public urged to cooperate with police

CCPO and SSP Operations Dr Mian Saeed said the step would bridge the confidence gap between the police and public

PESHAWAR: The public needs to cooperate with the police and security forces to ensure lasting peace in K-P, ANP Central Vice President Haji Ghulam Bilour said on Thursday. He was speaking at a training session of a public liaison committee (PLC) at Malik Saad Police Lines in the city. According to the ANP leader, peace will bring progress and prosperity to the region and the public must play an effective role in ensuring stability. “Police, security forces and the public have rendered sacrifices for the country,” he said.  CCPO Mubarak Zeb and SSP Operations Dr Mian Saeed said the step would bridge the confidence gap between the police and public.
