Khalil-ur-Rehman and Humayun Saeed team up

Legendary playwright to work exclusively for the actor’s production house

KARACHI: Renowned actor and producer Humayun Saeed has been fairly successful with previous business ventures and collaborations. His production banner Six Sigma Plus has now officially confirmed its collaboration with legendary writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, stated a press release. The playwright will now be exclusively writing for Six Sigma Plus Productions.

With several hit drama serials such as Boota from Toba Tek Singh, Landa Bazar, Chandpur Ka Chanduu, Tum Yahi Kehna, Love Life aur Lahore and Main Mar Gayee Shaukat Ali, Bunty I Love You and Sadqay Tumhare under his belt, Khalil is undoubtedly one of the biggest mainstream playwrights of Pakistan.  His serial Pyaare Afzal was a huge success and gained immense popularity as well as critical acclaim. The show also clean-swept the television category at the Lux Style Awards 2015 by winning the Best Actor (Hamza Ali Abbasi), Best TV Play, Best TV Actress (Aiza Khan), Best TV Writer (Khalil) and Best TV Director (Nadeem Beyg) awards.



Speaking about his collaboration with Khalil, Saeed said, “It is with great honour that I announce Khalil Sahib and Six Sigma Plus will now be working exclusively with each other. We are looking forward to an exciting new phase for our production house and will do our best in bringing Khalil Sahib’s extraordinary scripts to the screen.”
