It's a girl! Rani Mukerji, Aditya Chopra welcome first child

Actress Rani Mukerji and director Aditya Chopra have been blessed with a baby girl, Aditya's brother announced Wednesday.

Uday Chopra took to Twitter to break the news, keeping it short and simple:

It's a girl! Veena Malik gives birth to second child

The two have decided to name their daughter Adira. Rani was overwhelmed and grateful for the little bundle of joy.

"I would like to thank all my well wishers and fans. Today life has given us God's greatest gift with Adira. We thank fans our friends and well wishers for their unconditional support and blessings. With joy we begin this new chapter in our lives," she said in a statement.
