Aggraveted argument: Girl shot dead after minor scuffle

A case has yet to be registered

SUKKUR: A teenage girl was gunned down on Monday over a minor dispute in the Mir Khan Gabol village, district Ghotki. Some women had gathered at the tap to fetch water when a scuffle broke out between two groups of women. In the mean time, a man belonging to one group opened fire, due to which Sughra, daughter of Bajhi Gabol, was injured. The assailant managed to flee. The girl was rushed to Civil Hospital, Mirpur Mathelo, where she succumbed to her injuries. Her elder sister, Hakim Zadi, said a heated argument took place between some women and a man, Deedar alias Deedo Gabol, opened fire, shooting her sister. A case has yet to be registered.
