‘Safa Pekhawar’ or Clean Peshawar kicked off in Town-III on Monday. Phase C of the drive commenced in Sufaid Dheri union council which was inaugurated by nazim Muhammad Ali.
“This is a joint initiative by Water and Sanitation Service Peshawar (WSSP) and the Town-III administration,” said Ali. He pointed out, “During the drive, garbage and solid waste will be removed and disposed of properly to ensure clean streets and markets.”
He said people should avoid throwing garbage on streets and informed that specific points have been allocated for garbage disposal. The nazim added, “We cannot achieve the target of the drive until elected representatives and the public extend cooperation to make the campaign successful.”
Ali said, “We will make Town-III an ideal town of the city and it is everyone’s responsibility to ensure cleanliness and to perform their duty honestly.”
