Cast member says ‘Tum Hi To Ho’ being delayed because of Mathira, Saim’s affair

LAHORE: Although the upcoming love story, Tum Hi To Ho, is on its way to completion, the shoot has been interrupted quite a few times because of the alleged love affair between the lead actors. According to a cast member, Mathira and Saim Ali have been giving director Sangeeta a tough time because of their off-screen romance.

“Sangeeta is disturbed because of the growing intimacy between Mathira and Saim Ali. The schedule has changed several times because of their unprofessional attitude. Sangeeta has requested them to focus on their work,” shared a cast member.





However, Mathira denied such reports stating that her and Saim are just good friends. “Saim Ali is a great actor to work with. He is a good friend but there is nothing more than that. Work is my first priority and I have never compromised on my career so I am going to ignore all these rumours.”

Speaking about the matter, Saim mentioned that Mathira and him have known each other for many years. “We are old friends. We have also worked together before. Maybe people love our onscreen pair and the striking chemistry between us. That’s why everyone is talking about it,” he added.

According to the team of Tum Hi To Ho, the affair between the two started when the film was being shot in Karachi. The team has now moved to Lahore and have been filming in different areas of the city.



“I want to complete the film in February and will not allow anyone to disturb my work. I admit Mathira is hard working and a good actor. She is married and her relationship with Saim is a private matter. Everyone should realise how important it is for me to complete this film on time,” stated filmmaker Sangeeta.
