Drugs seized: Two suspected smugglers detained in Swabi
The team flagged down a vehicle and managed to intercept the smuggling bid
The anti-car lifting squad foiled a smuggling bid on Wednesday and seized 164 kilogrammes of drugs in Swabi.
Swabi District Police Officer Javed Iqbal Khan instructed a team under the command of Ibrar Khan to conduct a search near Bakari CNG Station on Jehangira Road.
The team flagged down a vehicle and managed to intercept the smuggling bid. The team also successfully seized the narcotics.
The police also arrested two smugglers and put them behind bars. A case has been registered and further investigation is under way.
