Money-laundering accused Ayyan Ali on Tuesday got back her passports after a customs court accepted her surety bonds and a personal guarantee. The model and her counsel Sardar Khurram Latif Khosa appeared before Customs, Anti Smuggling and Taxation Court Special Judge Rana Aftab Ahmed Khan to furnish her surety bonds worth Rs2 million and a personal guarantee. The court, however, allowed the accused to deposit Rs 1million in cash instead of furnishing personal surety bonds. Ali has deposited the amount in the State Bank. The court will take up the case on December 8. The model said she was happy to get back her passports and hoped the court would provide her justice. The model was arrested by Pakistan Customs from the Benazir Bhutto International Airport in March this year with $506,800. The customs court has also charged with the crime.
