Tanweer Abbas | 8 years ago | Reply A category III B approach is a precision approach and landing with no decision height or a decision height lower than 50ft (15m) and a runway visual range less than 700ft (200m), but not less than 150ft (50m). They should have gone for a category III C equipment where there is a no decision height and no runway visual range limitation. I am sure come mid December, Lahore Airport fog conditions will even get worst than the allowable conditions specially at dawn for Cat III B approach and landing, flights will have to delayed.
Shakil Ahmed Khan | 8 years ago | Reply Why the USD 25 Million cost when its donated by UAE as gift! UAE gift is as most airlines that use Lahore Airport of any other airport in Pakistan, are middle eastern airlines! so they wish to have less cancelled flights. What CM and other guys have done? spending spree of 25 million USD to install a gift from UAE? Whats their achievement?
