PABBI/ BATKHELA:
At least two men died while four others were injured in separate accidents in Pabbi and Batkhela on Saturday.
In the first incident, Kamran was on his way to his relative’s house with his mother and two sisters when a speeding truck hit their motorcycle near Taru Jabba, Pabbi.
As a result, Kamran died on the spot while his mother and two sisters were injured.
According to a police official, the injured were rushed to Mian Rashid Hussain Shaheed Memorial Hospital and are in critical condition.
The driver of the truck managed to escape after committing the crime. Police have registered an FIR and started investigation.
In a separate incident, a man died while a minor was injured when a motorcycle and a car collided near Batkhela Headquarters Hospital.
The accident occurred due to reckless driving. As a result, Asad Khan, who was riding the bike, died on the spot while his brother, Ali Khan, a minor, was wounded. Fazal Muhammad, the driver of the car, was taken into custody.
Further investigation is under way.
