Fata Education: Endowment fund to sponsor students
The fund will promote education, sponsor talented students and meet deficiencies in educational institutions.
PESHAWAR:
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Governor Engineer Shaukatullah has directed for establishment of an endowment fund in FATA to promote education, sponsor talented students and meet deficiencies in educational institutions. The governor in a formal directive to FATA Secretariat here Monday elaborated that the fund would extend sponsorship to FATA students, including those studying in Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute and Aitchison Lahore and NUST Islamabad, irrespective of the classes in which they would be studying. “We also need to sponsor talented students to appear in Inter Service Selection Board of professional institutions and other competitive exams,” the Governor said.
