Dr Saniya Sabzwari: The writer is a Fellow of the American Board of Family Medicine and an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi, Pakistan. She has a special interest in community mental health, health education and geriatrics.

The writer has a background in strategic studies from the National Defence University, Islamabad. He has a keen interest in topics relating to political science, international affairs and security studies.

Currently based in Manila, the author specialises in corporate sustainability and sustainable development with experience working with the Pakistan Business Council.
