Dog fighting is a blood sport that has been practised for centuries around the world.

In Pakistan dog fighting is also a popular sport; a fighter dog takes two years to get ready for fighting. It’s a knockout game, once a dog loses a fight, it cannot qualify in any tournament in Pakistan ever again.

This film is on a dog fight tournament held in Sargodha.

Do bulls really have choice? Aren't they prepared for fight? How many people got a slap on wrist for doing this?

J.C. | 13 years ago | Reply @shakeeb: I seriously believe you are ill informed. You cannot compare humans boxing/wrestling to dog fighting. Humans have choices, and they do it for fame and money, lots and lots of money. They can choose to do it, or not do it. Dogs and other animals, on the other hand, cannot. They are beaten, intimidated, and bred like machines and do as commanded. Obviously you need to read more. You suggestion that this is directed at Pakistan because it's Pakistan and not USA couldn't be further from the truth. In USA people go to prisons, for a long long time, if caught abusing animals. In Pakistan, one would get a slap on the wrist for something like this. Do you not see the mass of people gathered there. No one gives a damn. Check out the story of Michael Vick, one of the recent animal abuse (dog fighting) incidents.

But what about human cruelty? like Boxing and WWE which is famous world wide no one post their video on this plateform and recognize that is human cruelty. Because this is in Pakistan thats why people saying this. If it is in America or any other country you will blog about that very different point of view.

These are the bitter realities and such videos should be brought on such platforms and then public should suggest what to do.It is true that animals rights should be preserved but what we can we suggest where human rights are not preserved in this country.

Nojeba | 13 years ago | Reply @ ET: Instead of putting up videos of dog fights and animal cruelty, why not put up information about what action can be taken if you see a dog fight or information about volunteer socities that help animals. There are people in Pakistan who dont care about human life let alone animals and this video might be entertaining for them. So instead of putting up videos at least put up something worth reading that is informative and that may help animals.
