Swedish model Elsa Hosk delivered a masterclass in red carpet dressing at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival, captivating audiences with two distinct looks that channeled old Hollywood elegance.

On May 22nd, Hosk embodied timeless beauty in a Prabal Gurung black-and-white gown reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe's iconic style. The silk taffeta design featured a structured white bustline that flowed into a dramatic train, reminiscent of the 1950s.

Staying true to the old Hollywood theme, Hosk complemented the gown with black sandals and classic Tiffany & Co. jewelry, including a dazzling diamond necklace and sparkling earrings. Her makeup mirrored the era's bold aesthetic with ruby red lips, dramatic cat-eye liner, and glowing bronzer. Loose curls cascading down her back completed the picture of Hollywood glamour.

The day before, Hosk showcased a different facet of retro fashion at the premiere of "Parthenope." Opting for a Saint Laurent creation, she donned a sleek black halter column gown with a daring backless design and spaghetti straps. While a departure from the extravagant gowns often seen at Cannes, the simplicity of the dress exuded sophistication and accentuated Hosk's statuesque figure.

Once again, Hosk accessorized with black strappy sandals and Tiffany & Co. jewelry, this time featuring a chunky Jean Schlumberger bowtie necklace, bracelet, and circle rope bracelet, alongside Elsa Peretti clip-on earrings and gold cuffs. Inspired by the 1960s, her hairstyle channeled Brigitte Bardot with a half-up "beehive" style. Bold black eyeliner and soft pink lipstick added a touch of edge and romance to the look.

Hosk's ability to flawlessly transition between two distinct eras on the Cannes red carpet is a testament to her fashion versatility.
