Gordon college : Students, teachers oppose privatisation

The protesters wore black armbands and also signed a petition

RAWALPINDI: Hundreds of students and teachers of Rawalpindi’s Gordon College on Tuesday held a protest demonstration against the college’s proposed privatisation. The protesters, led by professors association president Liaqat Abbasi, blocked Murree Road and Liaqat Bagh Road. The protesters wore black armbands and also signed a petition. They said the protest will continue today (Wednesday) as well.
