No compromise on national interest during US visit: PM Nawaz

Aizaz said Pakistan had every right to have nuclear weapons in the face of India’s Cold Start doctrine.

Talking about Afghanistan, the foreign secretary said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would reiterate in the US that use of force would be of no solution to Afghan crisis.

No civil nuclear ‘deal’ being discussed with US, says Foreign Office

Sustainable peace can return to Afghanistan only through reconciliation between all stakeholders of the country, he said, adding Pakistan had facilitated the reconciliation process and is willing to continue to do so.
