KHANPUR:

A woman was seriously injured near Feroza on Monday after a pack of stray dogs attacked her. Incidentally, five months ago, three of her children, all under the age of 11, were attacked by stray dogs at the same spot and died.

Police said on June 1, Sakina Bibi, a resident of Chak 80-A near Feroza, was walking to the Qadri Darbar area with her children Ali Hussain, 11, Muhammad Abdullah, 4, and one-year-old Ubaidullah when stray dogs attacked them.

The boys had succumbed to the injuries.

On Sunday, Sakina Bibi was working in the fields when stray dogs attacked her.

Her husband Muhammad Irshad and other men in the area ran to help her. They managed to shoo away the dogs and took her to the Feroza Rural Health Centre but there were no vaccines there.

She was then taken to Shaikh Zayed Hospital in Rahim Yar Khan. Doctors there said her condition was serious.
