Inoculation: Polio drive to be held in Jamrud

JAMRUD: A seven-day polio drive will be held in Jamrud, Khyber Agency. The political administration has completed all preparations in this regard. At least 47 security vehicles of khasadar and levies officials will patrol the streets of Jamrud during the campaign. Political tehsildar Nek Muhammad said security has been augmented to ensure no untoward incident occurs during the course of the drive. Local elders have been advised to cooperate with the 137 teams that will administer polio vaccines to infants.
