Health department: Anti-dengue campaign in full swing

According to the statement, during the awareness campaign 0.5 million awareness pamphlets will be distributed

KARACHI: During the ongoing drive against dengue virus, thousands of awareness pamphlets were distributed among the students of Government Girls Elementary School Gulistan Colony and Government Boys Primary School Gulistan Colony, Lyari. The dengue programme incharge, Dr Masood Solangi, also briefed the students about the dengue virus, on the occasion. In a statement, health minister Dr Mehtab Hussain Dahar said that the ongoing drive against dengue virus will continue till September 10 in Karachi, and it will be taken to Hyderabad, Thatta, Tando Allah Yar, Badin and Mirpurkhas in the next phase. After completion of these districts, the drive against dengue virus will go to the remaining Sindh districts, he said. According to the statement, during the awareness campaign 0.5 million awareness pamphlets will be distributed.
