NAB chief calls on Malaysian counterpart

Discusses training of NAB officers, other matters of mutual interest.

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry called on the Chief Commissioner of Malaysia’s Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), DatukMustafar Ali on Friday.

They discussed the matters of mutual interest including training of NAB officers on modern lines, said a press release. They also discussed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between NAB and ACC after obtaining approval from their respective governments.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 16th International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) organised by the Malaysian government and Transparency International in Kuala Lumpur  from September 2 to 4, 2015.

The NAB chairman was invited as key participant to share Pakistan’s initiatives in curbing corruption in IACC.
