His cousin promptly took to Facebook, asking everyone to pray for Faizan's health:

Haque along with VJ-turned-actress Anoushey Ashraf were embarking on a road trip all the way up to the Chinese border. The two of them were to make an internet show of their adventures, one that showcases unexplored landscapes and untold stories from Pakistan.

However, Faizan's unfortunate accident put an immediate halt to all plans. The actress rushed to her friend's side whens he found out what had happened.

“He suffered severe head injuries and now I am on my way to Nawabshah to see what has actually happened. I request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery,” said the actress.

Before they embarked on their journey, they spoke to The Express Tribune and explained what their trip was about.

“It’s a mini travel guide to the North of Pakistan,” elaborates Anoushey. “It will be a way of showing what we need to tell Pakistanis and everyone else from around the world. Basically, how beautiful and inexpensive such a trip can prove to be.” The duo clarified that the show or the venture is not inspired by the HONY initiative.

Their itinerary aimed to touch a number of breathtaking locations and places that define Pakistan quintessentially. From Karachi they would head on to Moroo, then to Lahore and from there, straight to Islamabad. After Islamabad, the next milestone will be Gilgit from where they were to head on to Naltar Lake and camp. On to the Khunjerab Pass, which is the highest highway, and from there to Sostt, and reach  Borikh lake. After Gilgit, they planned to move towards Rahma Lake and lodge in Astor valley.
