The motorway police is the first responder in case of an accident; therefore, they should be professionally trained in provision of first aid.
This was said by Additional Secretary Finance Dr Shujat Ali on Friday while addressing the certificate distribution ceremony of National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) and paramedical staff on completion of a first-aid course.
He lauded the performance of NHMP and said the motorway police was corruption free. Due to better services, he said, NHMP is being honoured in Pakistan and abroad. He advised to carry on the good traditions.
