HYDERABAD: PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari’s absence may have given rise to the speculation of the former president striking a ‘deal’ with the  military establishment, but the estranged party leader Zulfiqar Mirza would beg to differ. Appreciating the army chief’s efforts, Mirza said that General Raheel Sharif will not tolerate people plundering the country. “General Raheel Sharif comes from a strong family background unlike [Gen] Ziaul Haq and [Gen Pervez] Musharraf. He is not like any so-called politician who can forgive these thieves for personal interests,” he asserted.
